This week we’re examining the artful world of Brianna from Candyman (2021) and her journey to figuring out who the Candyman is and what his relationship is to her boyfriend Anthony. This movie is heavy-handed about police brutality, racism, gentrification, and more, but in our opinion, there are a LOT of people who need to hear these messages so we support the ultra clear delivery completely. We also discuss if Bri would really own a branded merchandise pen from a laundromat (honestly, probably not, she’s too chic for that) and how visually gorgeous this movie is.
